The Rescue

The purpose of this section is to provide the community with further information about the HRRC project in relation to the actual rescue of significant historical records; that is, the newspapers, the photographic negatives and the motion picture film.

This includes some background information about each of these three programs, reasons why these historical records are at-risk of being lost to the community and a description of what is involved in the preservation processes being undertaken for the HRRC project.
